These stamps use the design patterns of Kogin Sashiko embroidery.  Osco Labo, in this collection highlights the beauty and simplicity of these ancient embroidery styles which were originally created to reinforce and strengthen garments with an extra layer of wool when repaired. 

The simple straight lines  of the stitching style creates a neat patterns when printed on paper.
