For Midori's 70th Anniversary the maker of quality notebooks has created a fountain pen gift set to create a memorable writing experience to savour.  

The set can make a special milestone gift for a new generation of writers and journalers. 

A bottle of Midori's original ink and a contemporary fountain pen are packaged in a smart presentation box as a set. It is the perfectly balanced accessory for the Midori notebooks creating beautiful writing tools to make writing a pleasure. 

The pens are made from a steel frame with a clear acrylic capsule to add a fresh, new look to the old school writing tool. The colour of the ink can be seen as you write. With the colours made for the collection, this will be a dramatic change from traditional fountain pens. 

The original 70th anniversary inks are made in three colours. Each set contains a cartridge of black. 

* Grey - the colour of the lines in the MD notebooks. 
* Orange - the colour of dark orange ribbon bookmark featured in the MD notebooks. 
* Vivid Blue - the colour of the bold blue ribbon bookmark featured in the MD notebooks. 

Use the coloured inks as highlighter colours for the usual black or blue text. 

To transfer the ink to the pen , use the a 'converter' capsule contained in the set. The pen tip is dipped in the ink and with a turn of the converter knob it sucks up the ink. 

The fountain pen tip, has an angular slightly curved nib to create a smooth meeting between pen and paper.

Please note:
When not used, replace with the cap or the ink will dry out. 
Do not use other than for writing. 
Do not give this to children. 
Midori recommends only using Midori ink for the pens, or the pen may clog.  
The pen capsule can be washed out and replaced with a different colour ink. 
Do not place at high temperature and humidity.
